The Sandbox

The Sandbox is IEEE’s biggest event that pioneers the theme of Green Technology in support of Indonesia’s mission to achieve Net Zero 2060. It consists of three main sub-events, namely Grand Seminar, Exhibition, and Competition. Both the Grand Seminar and Exhibition are to be held on the same day and co-organized with STEI ITB.

The Grand Seminar will provide various insights, especially those related to Green Technology. The material will be presented by experts in each field as speakers and participants will be given the opportunity to have interactive QnA and discussion. The Exhibition will showcase stunning creations from finalists of The Sandbox competitions as well as researchers from STEI, and feature a handful number of companies, creating a space for interaction and collaboration.

Last but not least, The Sandbox champions two exciting competitions — Technovate Paper Competition and Proto Tech Contest, in the field of paper writing and engineering, respectively.
